10th December 2025 Update

The Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) has announced an extension to its consultation on setting up a compensation scheme, to 12 December 2025. They also announced a further extension to the complaints handling pause on motor finance commission complaints until 31 May 2026.

If you’ve already made a complaint relating to commission, then you don’t need to do anything further and your complaint remains paused until 31 May 2026.

If you’ve not made a complaint and wish to do so, you can do this by clicking the relevant button below.

If your complaint relates to a contract hire (leasing) agreement, on 3 December 2025, the FCA confirmed that leasing complaints are excluded from the consultation extension as they are not in scope of the proposed scheme. Therefore, the complaints handling pause has now been lifted and we will start handling these complaints as normal.

We will continue to monitor FCA developments closely and update customers as more information becomes available. In the meantime, you can find further information on the FCA’s website here.
